GM bashers, go ahead and stop reading now. . .

Right now, GM is having a 72 hour, 0% financing for 72 months deal. Plus I get the GM family discount.

So today I looked at the Torrent. With some of the problems my car has had lately, I am most likely going to buy this weekend.

Here is a pic of it.

I worked with a woman that really likes her Equinox. 'Course, she's a 3 kid havin' soccer mom... not sure if that's the vibe you're going for. ;)

You said you didn't want a car payment! Don't make an impluse buy....they're having this deal through July 5th (if they don't extend it). So, if you're sure you want this vehicle and the payment that goes with it, shop it at the various Pontiac dealers and get the best deal you can. You don't HAVE to buy it this weekend.

But if you do, can I smell it? :O

Yes Lil, it is exactly like the Equinox (same frame, body, etc), except they stylized it a little differently.

Mine equinox is 2005 it has 60,000 miles on it 40000 put on in the last 11 mo. It runs well. I can put a crap load of boxes, packs, gloves, whatever the hell my company decides to send me. It's a 6 cylinder which I felt like a ***** buying since I had only driven 8 cylinders, but it surprising has get up and go like my last truck did.

My only complaint is that it gets 21 miles to the gallon. I wish it got more. I also wish I hadn't cheaped out and gotten the one with xm and a sun roof.

Oh and I'm about to get some ninja sweet tires from LWM that are going to be so kick *** I'm not going to have to replace them till the car goes to the junk yard.

Other than the "I don't have a payment anymore" feeling, there's not. That's what makes it such a good deal.
