How many of you can and do whistle? If so what do you whistle?
I mostly whistle Pixies songs. I used to be able to whistle really well, but then I got braces and that put a crimp in it.

I can but don't. We have people at work always whistling in their cube... whistling at the urinal... whistling while dropping the kids off at the pool. I'd kick 'em in the junk if it wouldn't get me fired. :mad:

pssssssssstttt'ing works as well as a whistle sometimes..but I can do both. My daughter could whistle when she was only 4.

I only really whistle for a dog, or maybe at a fireman if I need his attention, for a fire emergency or something like that. ;)

I can whistle, but usually don't. I have far more annoying ways to inflict the music stuck in my head upon other people.

On a side note, I think it was the Disney Toon channel that was showing the animated 1973 Disney version of Robin Hood earlier today. You know, where Prince John was the mane-less lion that sucked his thumb and his crown kept falling down over his head? Good times. Oh, and the music from that thing gets stuck in my head all the time - even when I hadn't seen it for YEARS until today.

I remember when I first mastered whistling in first grade. I was so proud that I told all my classmates about it. That same day, someone whistled in class and I was wrongly accused and convicted of the crime.

I've just come into an ability to whistle in the last couple years. I still can't reproduce music, but I can whistle well enough to annoy women and indicate surprise.

The former coworker, aka the guy that sounds like he's using sandaper
in the stall, whistled all the time, even while taking a ****. Drove me nuts.
