I've got a few questions about how stuff works or looks like on SF.com. I'd like to ask one here and get your or another mods answer. Then as I or others come up with other requests, they can be PEEM'd to me and I'll ask the best one's in new installments. If it something you can't or don't want to answer, that's cool. Maybe this should be a sponsor thing? Sound good? Good. :D

Here we go....We'll call it Hey Beano! Vol. 1

I was thinking last night after Stanley got baned, what does it look like when you bane someone? I mean, the screen. How do you enter the number of days? Is there a box for permabane? A screenshot would be great!

Please don't bane me as the example. 1tc has volunteered for that.

I think the hugs and kisses are gonna get you banned...Beano doesn't seem like much of the touchy feely type.

That's a great question cvs. I'm glad you asked it.

For the more troublesome posters we've implemented a feature into the board that makes it easier to muzzle them. If you'll notice, for all admins, there is a button on the bottom of each post. Every time an admin clicks it, said poster gets a one day ban.

If you were logged in when you were baned you get a rectangular box telling you so, what for, and how long. If you weren't logged in, or if you use a different browser you can read everything but can't post, PM, etc. There's a million ways around it, and you'd be surprised who's posting/lurking around here as I type this.
