In other news the RIAA wants to gag both for not paying sufficient royalties to it.

Slickwife's Passat came with Sirius, I've got XM. The music channels
just seem to be better, with better playlists on Sirius than on XM.

When I signed up for Sirius, I was told you could only get the NFL on Sirius and XM had NASCAR.

Brian France is a moron..go figure.
But................Nascar moves to ESPN/ABC next year!!!! No more NBC! :D
Downside to this is, we still get D.W. on Fox for the first half, and Rusty Wallace will be in the booth for the ESPN/ABC broadcasts.
Rusty did do a damn good job during the Indy 500 though.

And I'm sure it's not as simple as changing service, I have to get new hardware also?

yep, but in a year or so they will have hardware that works with both services.

XM - Major League Baseball package
Sirius - Does not

Big difference in my book.

I can't even begin to comprehend how mind-numbingly boring NASCAR would be on the radio.

It's not bad if you have an imgaination as well as getting used to multiple play by play teams during the course of a race(usually 2-4)

not every week and not for a month. they'll take the ocassional day off, but they're one of the few national radio duos who don't even take off the week between christmas and new years.

I am pretty sure he is taking off 2 weeks in July, and 2 in August, he gets 10 weeks every year.

I have had XM for a while, and finally tried Sirius. I think I like Sirius better, especially the selection of rock stations.
