Looks like he was ready to pinch one off and hand it to the ump.
I would loved to have seen that...sort of, the dudes a grown man...and needs to act like it!:eek:

His jump/slide into second was not very textbook. :D

And the batboy's reaction to the bat's being thrown on the field is priceless. You can barely see him throw his hands in the air like "C'mon!" Then he starts to head out to pick them up multiple times, scared of being hit by more bats :D

he did show good form when he showed the ump how to call a strike however.

the best tirade ever was when Tommy Lasorda went out perceivedly to argue a call, however he was making dinner plans with the umpire.

No doubt. You have to know that he pulled a muscle or two over the years during the tirades but there was no way he was going to limp back to the dugout and give the umpire any satisfaction.
