When I was in high school in the early 90's, a couple of people from a different crew tried to start using dank and make it a cool word. I always thought it was we Todd did.

I got that from some hippy dude from San Francisco that was a semi-regular on Letterman back then. I think his name was Manny. He gave reviews of stuff. Dank was good, swag was bad, and diggity meant "very". If Manny gave a movie a "diggity swag" it was sure box office death. :D

My 6th graders use the word phat. If something is cool, or awesome, it is phat. They say it stands for "pretty hot and tight".
