So when I found out I was diabetic I had to ditch my beloved Mt. Dew. I'd been drinking about 7-8 cans of Mt. Dew a day since I was about 6 years old (probably a contributing factor to my diabetes :)).

Anyway, I didn't want to drink Diet Mt. Dew becuase it's not nearly as good as the real thing and does nothing but taunt me.

I began a journey of sampling a variety of diet soft drinks in search of a good tasting substitute. Diet RC and Diet Coke were at teh top of my list until I discovered the best tasting diet drink EVER.

Hillbillies of the South Oval, I give you "Coke Zero."

Yeah, that stuff and Pepsi One are actually not too horrible for diet stuff.

Diet Rite is the shniz when you're really thirsty. Otherwise, meh.

diet anything is awful to me.

I quit drinking Coke over a month ago (and I live on Coca-Cola) and just drink coffee, water, and juice.

I used to be the same way. I HATED diet soda's. Hated them. I got those Wal-Mart carbonated flavored waters and started drinking those because I liked the flavor, not realizing the sweetener in them is the same as in most diet drinks (aspartame). I got used to those over a couple of months, and when I realized it was the same ingredient, I tried a diet coke. Voila! Ever since then that's all I drink.

Diet RC is probably one of the best. Back when I was a sugar soda guy, I was all about Coke products. In Diet, I think Pepsi has them beat. Diet Cherry Pepsi is awesome, as is Mt. Dew.
