Question or two for you all.

At A&M we have a Library that has archived a ton of old football games on VHS and DVD formats that can be purchased for $10 each. Complete seasons go back to 1988 but selected game footage goes back decades. Does Oklahoma have anything like this? I have managed to collect 40+ of my favorite games from my time as a student at A&M. But, I would love to find some old classic Sooner games from the Switzer era. I have the 1981, 1986, and 2001 Orange Bowl DVDs that are out there. I know there is a guy that posts here that trades for stuff, but I have nothing that he doesn't have so I have nothing to "trade with."

Also, in searching for this stuff I found that OU has a video season ticket package:

And that games since 2002 can be purchased for $25 bucks. Anyone know how good these are? Are they the network broadcasts, athletic department video (A&M's more recent stuff is athletic dept cameras), etc.? I am looking to replace few of my tapes (esp the 2003 RRS that is acting up) and am wondering about these products.

i THINK that the athletic dept. has all home games from the closed circuit broadcast. i think that this has been going on for decades. no play-by-play announcing or anything like that on it.

This version of the game has TV network or Soonervision video dubbed with audio from the Sooner Sports Radio Network broadcast team. Each game has edited between huddles. Approximately 60 minutes. I have watched a couple of them but they are not worth $25 to me. For $25 I want to see 3 hours worth of video.

Soonervol -

Okay, they sound exactly like what A&M puts out (1988 and on) except ours are $10 a shot via Cushing Library Archives and we have stuff that goes back decades.

Of course, $25 is better than what Texas charges ... they go back to 1995 but their's are $50 a copy.
