Looks as if sexual harrasment/battery charges might be leveled against him.

We have three HS interns here at work and one is a girl. The boss and I left at the same time on Friday and Lazy Guy waited for the girl's mom to pick her up. I guess she is alledging that the incident happened after we left.

I don't know. I only know him from work and from what I've seen so far I wouldn't think so. Then again, he is a preacher part time. Also, what would the little girl have to gain? She seems really sweet. She's quiet.

The story is that he offered her $100 for a BJ and then he whipped it out and tried to make her touch it.

I don't know.

Did she not tell her parents (I'm assuming she's under 18)? If my daughter told me this happened to her, this guy's *** would be in jail or dead.

she told her mom. Not sure if she has a father

Holy crap. One of them needs to go to jail. Either way, both of their lives will be ruined for a while.

That is really sad.

So is Lazy Dude in jail yet?

1stTimeCaller
6/22/2006, 04:55 PM
not yet but he was out today for 'personal stuff' and his main office folks called a few times wanting to talk to our boss, I told em that boss wasn't in and then they asked for Lazy Guy. I then asked if I could help and she said no I just need to talk to the boss about this.

Lazy Guy works for a minority contractor that we partnered with on this project to up the HUB/minority participation. He isn't an employee of the company that I work for. If that makes sense.

before condemning the guy wait and see if it actually happened.

if it is one thing i have learned about people over the years...they tend to lie...even when there is no rational explanation for it.

where have I condemned the guy?

The best answer I've given anyone is 'I don't know'. That's about the only answer I've given. I've always told my mom and brother that if I get locked up for shooting 20 people that they are not to go on TV saying that I could never kill 20 people and blah blah blah because 99% of those folks are made to look like fools.

I keep going back to why the girl would make it up. What does she have to gain? The more I think about it the more I realize that I just can't come up with a guilty or not guilty verdict in my head.

Yes. It's beginning to make sense now. The DFW area is full of contractors given parts of contracts due to their skin color instead of their ability to actually complete a project. I'm sure all major cities are the same.

The HMFIC of our Dallas office just called for my boss. I told him that my boss was at his other project this morning. He then asked me if Lazy Guy was here today. He then said that he'd call back that he had to take another call.

Sumptin's up.

1st,
Your work tribe seems to have a ton of chiefs. How do they sort out who's really in charge?

well, I work for a construction company. At the project level the Project Manager is ultimately the boss of everything out here. The Superintendent is the boss of putting the building together, the bricks and sticks. I'm a project engineer and I work for both of them. I make sure the paperwork and drawings are correct and the guys can build it without being held up. I also double check to ensure stuff is getting built correctly. I also assist the PM on how much to pay the subcontractors each month. Not very exciting except for the daily interactions with crazy people.

My PM reports to a Contract Manager at the main office( the Dallas office) the CM reports to the Division Manager. The DM reports to someone at our corporate office in Arizona. We have offices in San Fransisco, Phoenix, Dallas, Indianapolis and somewhere in New Jersey.

Each Division is ran by their manager as it's own company and then each jobsite is ran like it's own company, for the most part. Just typical large construction company heirarchy.
