Now Maines opens her mouth again. I checked Tuba's Cindy Sheehan thread and didn't see this mentioned...

Here's the gem of the story from the London Telegraph...



"The entire country may disagree with me, but I don't understand the necessity for patriotism," Maines resumes, through gritted teeth. "Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country… I don't see why people care about patriotism."


I sure hope they fade into obscurity musically.

I find it amazing that the folks who want the Chicks to shut up and go away are the same folks most often handing them the megaphone, talking about them on their radio shows, starting threads about them, etc. Carry on.

it's something to talk about. the same way you might come chime in on something some silly dumb right winger might say.
