I was asked this and at first I had a bunch of things I'd do differently but I started thinking maybe all the mistakes I made landed me where I am today with my wife and kids.
Of coarse this isn't the type of manly Marine talk my buddies were looking for so I said something about playing small college football.

I would have tried to realize in the 10th grade that when Mary Jane said "No", she really did mean "Yes".
At least that's what I heard at the 20th reunion.

I would have went for a computer science degree like I really wanted to. To this day, I still don't know why I didn't.

right knee was a hurdles incident, left knee was me being an 'indestructable teenager'.

I would have taken competitive swimming seriously my sr year in high school (and the summer before). Funny how quickly SMU scholarship offers can disappear, and how cool you realize that could have been 20 years later.

Hey Howzit, hate to be the one to break it to you, but you never could have been cool.

The story in my family is that my grandfather had a chance to buy into what became Glenpool and thought is was a dumb idea. What could have been.
