Now, I certainly have hope for OU to end up as #1, but I always feel ranking them in the top 5 in my poll is always bad luck. Other than that, there is quite a bit of bias against teams, but others I feel are overrated. Please pick and tear it apart lol. Criticism is good.

I like where you've got LSU but I think that is a little optimistic. This year is a bitch for them.

Texas is too high and Oklahoma should be in the top 5.

I'm not drinkin the Michigan elixir again.

Lloyd has a talent for being out of the hunt before the leaves start to fall.

but the promises up here are that the new defensive coordinator actually comprehends how to stop a running quarterback ;)

Holy Cross is amazing. Scott D, is # 5 high enough?

ahh...the off-season hopes and dreams :D

I actually always go for them against tOSU but the whole program just seems to have lost its way...

speaking of wayward programs...the Tennessee boards would kill for a #17 finish.

well the turnover in the Holy Cross secondary is the reason that they are only at #5..if those incoming freshmen are as good as advertised, they're going to be the team to beat.

We are definitely too high because of inexperience at QB.

Boomerang is also too high because of too many quesiton marks. If everything falls perfectly, which it won't...you guys are top 10 finishers.

I like where you have Ohio State, LSU & Notre Dame.

However, OU should be in the top 3 (I know I'm a little biased) but we have the deepest defense in college football, best running back, decent QB, Solid receivers and one of the best coaches in the business.

You should have Florida & West Virginia higher

Texas and SoCal these 2 teams WILL STRUGGLE. This is not a matter of opinion but fact. Texas lost their star QB, tightend, almost all of their line. On defense they lost everyone!!!

SoCal- lost everyone on their O-line, leinart, Bush, White, tighend Byrd, most of their o-line along with a ton of guys on defense. Both USC and Texas remind me of us last year a lot of young talent!!!

Good list, although I would swap OU and texas.

I think their defense will still be quite good

I think West Virginia is a little low. I would have them in or around the top 15 at least.

perhaps, but they are no Holy Cross.

Dude, you know as well I do that HC will not be able to match up with Colgates power running game. NO WAY COLGATE LOSES TO HC.

Mairst is going to give people some problems as well. That new TE should be a monster.

Holy Cross and Colgate have nothing on Duke...hence Duke's #4 ranking.

call me crazy, but i would have west virginia in the top 10 at least, possibly in the top 5. what i saw from slaton and white last year made me a believer. i really think they have a chance to be a powerhouse this year. i do see where you could be coming from by ranking them so low. they rack up a lot of wins against a mediocre big east and they almost always, like michigan, seem to find a way to underachieve with the talent they get. if their stars play as well as they did against georgia last year, and they can find a little bit of defense to hold back rallies, look for wvu to be in contention for a national title

They'll lost at least 3 games this season. They will be a lot like OU last year!!

Oral Roberts would school Holy Cross.

ORU...when will you get a football team?

Billy Graham couldn't help ORU when Holy Cross would proverbially come to town.
