NCAA says his apartment situation violated "extra benefits" rule. (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2486792)

He'll have to apply for re-instatement, but is expected to play next year anyway.

hmm, no listing of the dates that leinart moved out. it would be interesting if it happened before the season ended.

Violations with both of their Heisman winners and not so much as a hand slap. But, then again, I can't remember the last time USC was sanctioned by the NCAA.
