For a good recent "Western", check out The Proposition.
Since we're dredging up old posts, I thought I'd give this one new life.
Last week, I bought it in the bargain bin at teh Wal-Marts. It is still quality.
For fans of the slow drama, I still recommend it. (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN fans will likely enjoy it, though it isn't quit 'there' in comparison.)
Still, worth a gander.
For the rest of you, well... best wishes and enjoy your comic books.

I didn't mean to suggest any snobbish opinion of those who don't care for this film. I can certainly understand why not everyone would appreciate it. There isn't anything wrong with not enjoying any flick. Hell, I'd rather lose a toe than watch Spiderman. It just isn't my thing. That said, I understand the thrill of enjoying a film and strongly recommend viewing whatever you wish.
I'm just offering a movie suggestion to those that enjoyed No Country For Old Men that there are other good ones out there.
