Two dead in head on collision, body remains found in other vehicle
Boise-- A major head-on collision kills two and reveals evidence of a separate homicide.

Two people were killed in a fatal car crash early this morning.
About 6:40 this morning, police say a Dodge Ram pickup collided head-on with a blue passenger car on Franklin Road in Boise between Five Mile and Cloverdale. The road has been closed most of the morning.
A woman and child in the blue car were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers also say they found the remains of a third person in the back of the Dodge pick-up.
Boise Police say they now have the male driver of the truck in custody, arrested for 2 counts of vehicular homicide. His name not released.
The severed head of a female was recovered at the scene. Police say it appears the body remains were in the pick-up prior to the accident. Those remains have now become evidence in a separate homicide investigation not within Boise jurisdiction.
