Has anyone been down to the new Nonna's down in Bricktown?

I highly recommend it we took one of our VP's down there last night, very good.

The orange/lemon madeline is outstanding.

I have eaten upstairs in their "Purple Bar" on the patio. Same food, just more relaxed atmosphere (with big screen TVs). I recommend the tomato bisque soup, lasagne and creme brule.

VERY good.

We didn't make it up stairs though.

I prefer the Mantel or Mickey Mantle's or Trattoria Il Centro or Museum Cafe to Nonna's, if you're in the downtown vicinity.

Mantel: smaller, less expensive, good food
Mickey Mantle's: better choice for steak, same price

Haven't tried the others but the Museum Cafe is not in bricktown and is virtually by itself after 5:00 p.m. I have heard they serve "high tea" which is supposed to be pretty good.

And, yes, I am too insecure to go have "high tea" at this stage in my life.

My personal favorite is Cheever's at NW 23 and Hudson.

The Museum Cafe is close enough without the Bricktown headache that is sometimes present.

Give the Trattoria a go sometime. Very good food and good wine.

I agree about Cheever's. If we're going up to 23rd, you also have to include Tom & Jerry's.
