Oregon will fall in the most onesided victory since A&M's demise of 77-0. Final Score, AD 9353 Oregon 3.

If you had been sitting next to a bunch of Oregon fans at the Holiday bowl and seen him reach for the end-zone and get stripped, you'd care :)

The 2nd "best" team in the PUKE10 hasn't been a match for anyone outside their own league in the past 3 years. I don't expect that to change this year either. Since AP is healthy and the west coast dopers don't see too many (how about none) teams who can actually run the football, I have every confidence that your OL will regain plenty of mojo after sufficiently stampeeding their fluourescent backsides.

They will be a good test for our team. Both offense and defense.

Weird, I could have sworn the Ducks had "seen" AD twice already

At Norman in 2004, Peterson had 183 yards on 24 carries. In the HB, 84 yards on 23 carries.

BTW, Oregon played (and defeated) three teams who finished the season with statistically superior running games to Oklahoma's. I'm not saying that those teams necessarily had better running games than the Sooners, just that you're full of crap.

That's true enough, but notice that the location of the game is almost as lopsided as the result.

I wonder if he comes out of a ginormous egg for every game of just that first time when he was...hatched?

The old duck seems very glad to see him, though.

And he seems to have a leg coming out of his duckbutt.

Very good! It's a Duck, get it? Hatched?

Actually, that's Mandrake, aka Roboduck, a failed attempt at semi-replacing Donald.

See, Disney gets royalties for every UO product that carries the likeness of Donald, so the marketing department came up with this monstrosity as a way to increase merchandise revenues.

That photo was taken on 10/26/02, when Mandrake was "born" prior to the USC game. Unfortunately, he went over like a lead balloon, and I don't think he's been seen again since 2002 (maybe at a b-Ball game or two).

Worry not though, the now-terminated mascot has found gainful employment.

it was this big idea from the oregon marketing department to have a futuristic duck hatch out of the egg, and surplant the old-school donald duck as the mascot. the whole idea went down in flames as soon as people laid their eyes on this superhero-freakish robo-duck.

experiment failed.

Yeah, in '04. Bevo 14. He's younger and thinner. Needs to darken up a bit though.

The old Bevo is from the same ranch. He's doing pretty well just chilling out.

Bevo 13:

Bevo retires after longest running term
Despite rumors, Bevo XIII will return home to a barbecue-free life at Sunrise Ranch, where he was born

He's trekked coast to coast in an air-conditioned trailer, attended President George W. Bush's inauguration in 2000 and witnessed 191 UT football games. Longhorn fans world-wide guzzle beer and scream his name, giving him the Hook 'Em salute.

And now, old, with knobby knees and jutting hips, 20-year-old Bevo XIII is finally retiring to his pasture in Liberty Hill, northwest of Austin, and the new sleek-coated Bevo XIV will take his place in Daryl K Royal Memorial Stadium.

It's Robo-duck. He isn't there anymore because he apparently did a slam dunk off a trampoline at a basketball game, the bill hit the rim and was knocked off, and scared the trash out of some kids. So he's not around anymore.

We now I'm sorry that you're offended that the 1-trick-pony-usc puke10 can't compete outside it's own league (see Cal vs Tech/ Oregon vs OU), but then that's not my fault is it.

And yeah, the outcome of two Holiday Bowls definitely comprises an empirical data base.
