This will be my first time to Vegas. We don't really have many set things that we're going to do besides staying at the Stratosphere and playing golf at the TPC at the Canyons on Saturday. I play a lot of poker so I'll probably do that but other than those couple of things that's about all we have planned. Any suggestions? What about the Blue Man Group? Is that worth the money to see that show?

blue man is love it or hate it. i thoroughly enjoyed it, but lots of people don't. however, if you're looking for a show to go to for your first time, i'd recommend Mystere. it's absolutely incredible. we've seen it 4 times now and it never gets old. if you're bringing the wife, be sure to go to Caesars and Venetian and check out all the shopping.

also, don't miss the rides atop the stratosphere.

It's a guys only trip which doesn't necessarily mean we're looking to hit all the strip clubs or anything. I've heard good things about the blue man group but didn't know if it was worth almost a hundred dollars. What kind of show is the Mystere?

You'll be busy enough without an agenda, just have fun and enjoy yourself. The Casino's will keep you busy enough.

This is what I figured but wanted to know if there were any "must-sees".

If you're with dudes and wanna see a show, skip Mystere and see Ka at the MGM Grand. http://www.mgmgrand.com/ka/

If you wanna go somewhere cool, get a car and go out here (it's about 20-30 minutes outside of Vegas):

It just opened and is supposed to be quite slick.

Also try Mix atop THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay.

It's a cirque du soleil show, best seen with a date or the wife & kids.

Last time the Mr. and I were in Vegas, we spent quite a bit of time in a very nice hospital on the west side of town because he got a kidney stone. I'd avoid that if I were you...
I didn't enjoy the Blue Man show. My girlfriends and I went to see Wayne Newton as joke our last time out there, and actually had a blast there. Can't really see a group of guys doing that, though.

If you like Thai food, Lotus of Siam is great (IMO). Bouchon at the Venitian has a really good breakfast.

Bouchon at the Venitian has a really good breakfast.

We ate there a few months ago for breakfast. Sat outside, had some cappuccino and breakfast. Holy sh*t was it good. One of the best places to go for breakfast in Vegas. Bouchon spek!

The breakfast at the Paris casino isn't bad either.

Yummm, did you get the French Toast at Bouchon? Cause that was freaking incredible. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm eating there every morning......

With that really thick, heavy bread? I didn't but my boss did, looked great.

From their menu:
Bouchon French Toast

Bread Pudding style with warm layers of brioche, custard and fresh fruit with maple syrup.

Makes me almost cry happy tears just thinking about it....
