I lived 1/2 mile from their last time. It was AWESOME!!

JM, I'm no geographer, but I'm not sure Glenpool is considered West Side.

If by west he means south of Tulsa then he'd be correct.

I bet the smoke will help our Ozone Alert chances today.

I live in Glenpool. I can see the smoke plume pretty well. I'm headed over there now with some marshmellows and hot dogs.

We're really close to Tulsa, so we use the Tulsa numbering system. Not like BA. Apparently, they're too good for the Tulsa street naming system.

So, you agree, Glenpool is nowhere near "west" or even "southwest" of Tulsa?

And the sad thing is that I have driven to Tulsa on 75 several times.... how could I miss Jenks?
How about we settle on S-SW as a compromise? In talking about Glenpool, I would describe it as south of Tulsa, unless I was trying to give driving directions - then I would say it is S-SW of Tulsa.

I didn't realize until I was looking some stuff up for a friend that Tulsa is almost the same size population-wise as Wichita. From the 'tude people from Tulsa have about Tulsa, you'd think it'd be way bigger. ;)

I don't know if I buy that. Wichita has a symphony, opera company, and a nationally-known summer music theater program.
