never seen napoleon dynamite. i liked school of rock, king kong, enemy of the state, shallow hal...

quite honestly, i couldn't stand any of jim carrey's early stuff either--it was idiotic. though dumb and dumber was pretty amusing. but liar liar was ok, and the truman show was pretty good. and I absolutely love Eternal Sunshine of the spotless Mind. I'm not too crazy about his weird stuff but I think he's actually a very good actor.

I was all sorts of stoked for this when I first heard the premise and saw the first trailer. But now I'm starting to get that feeling about this movie; the one where it looks pants-****ing hilarious in trailers 'cause they can just show a bunch of disjointed one-liners and sight gags and not have to worry about it making any sense, but once you're watching the full film, it'll be uneven and plodding.

Luckily, my expectations for this summer's movies have been SO lowered by Teh Omen that I'll still go see it and manage to not leave the theater enraged.

Oh, and you f*ckers LEAVE ROB SCHNEIDER OUT OF THIS! ;)
