I wonder if Bush and co. has already rigged the levies with TNT?

Haliburton surely is getting their hurricane-stearing machine up and running.

Wherever democrats are densly concentrated is the likely target

Heh. This one must be headed to New York, all the targets in Louisiana have been "engaged".

Sheesh...Bush bombed Zawqari's house once, then bombed it again! Don't understimate the hatred that man has for his enemies.

Actually I have been working with alot of mexicanos lately, and I have to say, whatever bigoted feelings I had towards them are gone.

(NOT racist! Bigoted! There is a difference)

Meanwhile, back at the National Hurricane Center...

SPECIAL FEATURE...
CLUSTERS OF MODERATE TO STRONG CONVECTION CONTINUE TO DEVELOP
OVER THE NW CARIBBEAN AND ADJACENT LAND AREAS ASSOCIATED WITH A
1005 MB SURFACE LOW CENTERED NEAR 18N85.5W. THIS SYSTEM IS
SHOWING SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION. SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE
THAT PRESSURES ARE FALLING IN THE AREA AROUND 3 MB. CONDITIONS
APPEAR TO BECOME MORE CONDUCTIVE TO TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION
AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD FORM AT ANY TIME. MOST OF THE
COMPUTER MODELS AGREE IN DEVELOPING THIS SYSTEM. IT IS EXPECTED
TO MOVE SLOWLY NORTHWARD...BRINGING ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS
PRIMARILY TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS AND PORTIONS OF CUBA DURING THE
NEXT DAY OR TWO. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN BETWEEN 4 AND 8 INCHES HAS
BEEN REPORTED IN CENTRAL CUBA.

TWOAT
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL

1030 PM EDT FRI JUN 09 2006

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED BETWEEN HONDURAS AND WESTERN
CUBA HAS CHANGED LITTLE IN ORGANIZATION DURING THE PAST FEW HOURS.
HOWEVER...CONDITIONS APPEAR TO BE FAVORABLE FOR THIS SYSTEM TO
BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION OR A TROPICAL STORM DURING THE NEXT 12
TO 24 HOURS. THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHWARD ACROSS
EXTREME WESTERN CUBA AND THE YUCATAN CHANNEL BRINGING SQUALLS AND
ADDITIONAL RAINS TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS AND PORTIONS OF CUBA. AN AIR
FORCE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT IS SCHEDULED TO INVESTIGATE THIS
SYSTEM TOMORROW AFTERNOON...IF NECESSARY.

ALL INTERESTS IN THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE SOUTHEASTERN
GULF OF MEXICO SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS SYSTEM.
BECAUSE DEVELOPMENT COULD OCCUR NEAR CUBA AT ANY TIME ON
SATURDAY...A TROPICAL STORM WATCH OR WARNING MAY BE REQUIRED FOR
PORTIONS OF WESTERN CUBA.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SUNDAY.

Nah, too early in the season for a big one. The waters are just warm enough
to support a minimal hurricane. A longshot would be a category two,
but no major hurricane this early.

The question is where. As they develop, the models have a hard time
picking them up and forecasting them. Right now, it could go anywhere
from Houston to Key West.

Okay Y'all just remember I'm selling at 6500$ an acre the only thing you have to worry about Is Tornadoes , snakes , ticks , and chiggers

Quick Scatterometer - that means satellite estimates of wind speed
and direction.

You'll notice just east of Belieze, it appears that a closed circulation
is forming or has already formed. (the counter clockwise circle)

This will be Alberto tomorrow.

Vet, I HATE CHIGGERS!@!@#!@# :D

The black projected track must be based on a model developed at the aTm Skool of Meteoro-Metero-Weather Science.

IOW, "Oh f-it, lets just project based on its next five minutes forecast movement and forget about all that complictated steering current and pressure related stuff. Its too dang complicated."

IMHO, the only one you really need.

That said, Slickums' products are very kewl. He should prolly leave Mississippi and head back to Norman and get a masters in met since that appears to be his passion...and he's smart enough to do the related math and physics.

That way, when he's old, he won't be mumbling "coulda, woulda, shoulda" and stuff while he tries to pinch the butt of a cute nursing home nurse.

Alberto is.

One of the resident farkologists on the fishing forum I frequent decided to put the current projected track on top of the pre-season landfall projections for hurricane possiblity. So much for the science of hurricanes. :D
