I am undecided. If it had Teddy Roosovelt on it, I would be a definite yes.

Bob Stoops should be on it.
Jihad the new 20.

The design looks kinda cool, but the different colors is making it look more like money from other countries.

Way too neo-euro for my taste. Kinda looks gay.

...which is probably why we're doing it. Foreign countries make their currency hard to fake. Ours has routinely been behind the times, counter-forgery wise.

I still think we should include a plastic or foil element in it somewhere -- make it so a guy with a scanner and a good inkjet can't even try to make a fake.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've heard all the arguments for changing money. Colorful money is easier to distinguish (except for the color blind). Actually, I've found the numbers on the corner a sufficient way of distinguishing. And those drunken nights when I couldn't make out what I was giving the stripper...I mean cabbie? That was karma for drinking too much.

Dude, I feel your pain.

Wow, I had no idea Andrew Jackson was a homosexual.

They actually did that, they're even on the current bills (except the one), about 3/4 of an inch away from the left side of the bill. Hold it up to the light and you can see it.

There be foreigners that make the entire central image element on plastic.

You don't have to hold it up to a light or nuthin'. To even try to make a forgery requires fairly sophisticated materials skills -- since there's no good way at home to attach plastic and paper seamlessly like that.

The point of these new changes to the $20 are to put security devices in that people will pick up on without effort. The problem the gummint has right now is that folks won't always do things like check the watermark or the security thread.

If they did, we'd already have a nearly counterfeit-proof bill.

it's propaganda, plain and simple,

I think the colors should be Red, White, and Blue.

Or have a colored American Flag, so when the terrorist want to burn the flag they are burning their bomb funds. ;)
