come to the conclusion that the past 2 years there just hasn't been that "we're better, we're badder arrogant attitude the defense used to carry around. Sometimes they lost and sometimes they got burned but they would freakin' intimidate you when they hit you and would rub it in your face when they could.
maybe i was just partial to the first 4 years cuz we kinda had a bond with those players and how they went from nothing to something great. but I watch the 2001,2002 defense and just think man they were badass.

I agree, that attitude has been missing. However, I think with Birdine back he will bring us up a notch. I also see Reggie having that attitude along with Rufus. Hopefully this is the year we say screw what everyone thinks about us and lets atm everyone.

Ive been saying that for a year now and everyone always shoots down the theory of attitude and swagger...agree or disagree I see it as a viable reason for struggling, you cant be a Great defense if you dont believe that you are better than every team that steps across the field from you
