According to IGN, AD will be the number one back in NCAA Football '07. It hits the shelves on July 18. I thought the rest of the top 25 was pretty good--except for Darius Walker at #6. Are you kidding me? He's a decent back, but no where near Michael Hart or Steve Slaton calibur. Oh well; just the regular Domer love, I suppose.

Oh, and the top 25 QBs are up too, but Bomar's nowhere in sight. There are some spares on that list too. Anyone up for emailing EA Sports?

So is it a new feature this year where you can dance while a play is still going on with a defender a couple of yards away? I would expect a fumble every time you were tackled while dancing.

No, but sometimes the refs blow a simple call on the goalline down in Lubbock. And then the RedRocketRaiders get a W when they earned an L.

I'm not so sure on Mike Hart. I know he was hurt for the majority of last year however the mental part is what i think he is going to have trouble with. I don't know if he is gonna be able to let go and turn back into the back he was. Wasn't it a hammie problem he was having. That fear is always in the back of your mind.

And about Bomar.... let us not forget his stats. 2018yds. 10td 10ints sacked 19 times. Those aren't the best stats in the world. There is a reason EA left him off the list and the stats tell you why. And i know that is the only thing EA looked at was the stats on some of these guys.

So does ASU...and all 4 of them have better stats than Bomar.

Peterson is the best RB coming back in 07 and I don't think it's even close. However, there are about 5 or 6 other guys on the team that will have just as much to do with his success as he does. Being the best RB in the country will definitely be worth big $ come draft day. I don't know how much good it will do him in Norman in 07 though.

The O-line holds our success in their hands w/o a doubt!!!!!!

Owen Field sure looks good in the game from what I could see in the picture.

But can the video game AD jump onto a box 33" off the ground with an 80 pound dumbell in each hand? Now that would impress me.

Does anyone know what AD's real vertical is? We've all been splooging over that 160 pound, 30 inch plus vertical for some time now.

If that story is true, it's gotta be a good bit over 40.

The story is true. It was either Stoops or Schmitty that said it when talking about AD's conditioning program.

My guess is AD's vertical is high 30's. Anything over 40 is Michael Jordan-like, which is unlikely for a football player. I would think he has to bend his knees to get his feet on the box. So maybe its really ONLY a 20 inch vert with some knee bend with the dumbells in his hands. That is freakish.

I think I posted something similar to this about this time last year, but, you know its a slow time for sports when there is a 2 page long thread about NCAA 07':D
Is there nobody fired up about the World Police Officer Olympics, Aka the World Cup of Soccer?;) What about the NHL Playoffs? I think its on ESPN 8, "the Ocho.":D Come on lets get some real sports talk going on! How do you think the Womens curling team is going to do in the 2010 olympics?
