The Beatles
Song: While My Guitar Gently Weeps Lyrics

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know why nobody told you
how to unfold you love
I don't know how someone controlled you
they bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know how you were diverted
you were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
no one alerted you

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at you all
Still my guitar gently weeps

Oh, oh, oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
oh oh, oh oh, oh oh
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah

Have you seen the little piggies
Crawling in the dirt
And for all the little piggies
Life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in.

Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in.

In their styes with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a damn good whacking.

Everywhere there's lots of piggies
Living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner
With their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon.

if John Lennon had recorded all his songs on the WA as a solo record....it would be one of the best rock records ever made.

Paulie turns in a couple stinkers with Martha My Dear (song about a sheep dog?) and the barrelhouse groaner Honey Pie.

at least Honey Pie gave us the parody of it (WIld Honey Pie)....and the Pixies version on the BBC sessions.

but, i agree the WA is one of the all-timers and my favorite Beatles record.

Rocky Raccoon is amazing
http://www.bearcreeksanctuary.com/images/other%20animals/rocky.jpg
Now somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota
There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon
And one day his woman ran off with another guy
Hit young Rocky in the eye Rocky didn't like that
He said I'm gonna get that boy
So one day he walked into town
Booked himself a room in the local saloon.

Rocky Raccoon checked into his room
Only to find Gideon's bible
Rocky had come equipped with a gun
To shoot off the legs of his rival
His rival it seems had broken his dreams
By stealing the girl of his fancy.
Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil
But everyone knew her as Nancy.
Now she and her man who called himself Dan
Were in the next room at the hoe down
Rocky burst in and grinning a grin
He said Danny boy this is a showdown
But Daniel was hot-he drew first and shot
And Rocky collapsed in the corner.

Now the doctor came in stinking of gin
And proceeded to lie on the table
He said Rocky you met your match
And Rocky said, Doc it's only a scratch
And I'll be better I'll be better doc as soon as I am able.

Only to find Gideon's bible
Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt
To help with good Rocky's revival.

Wouldja believe.. I AGREE WITH YOU 100% ?!? :D
That Mean Mr Mustard - Polythene Pam....Her Majesty stretch is sublime.

As for WA, I like Glass Onion a lot. But my absolute favorite song on WA is Revolution #1, the laid-back groovy version with the shoo-bee-doo-wahs. Sadly, I have lost that CD ... or my daughters did. :(

Anybody wanna spirit me a copy? PM me and I'll make arrangements. :) (really)

EDIT- Actually, I don't like Martha My Dear that much, but everything else is dead on.

if you turn Glass Onion up REALLY loud there are two baselines...it's pretty cool....Paulie was great bass player.

also cool, is the cowbell on Everybody's got something to hide...a few of the bell rings are edited out. so it skips a ring or two.

Creme tangerine and montelimat
A ginger sling with a pineapple heart
A coffee dessert--yes you know it's good news
But you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.
Cool cherry cream and a nice apple tart
I feel your taste all the time we're apart
Coconut fudge--really blows down those blues
But you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.

You might not feel it now
But when the pain cuts through
You're going to know and how
The sweat is going to fill your head
When it becomes too much
You're going to shout aloud
--Creme tangerine.

You know that what you eat you are,
But what is sweet now, turns so sour--
We all know Obla-Di-Bla-Da
But can you show me, where you are?..

Creme tangerine and montelimat
A ginger sling with a pineapple heart
A coffee dessert--yes you know its good news
But you'll have to have them all pulled out

Every album from "Rubber Soul" or "Revolver" on to the end of their career as a band was excellent, with a few doubts about the "Let It Be" album. All the stuff they made during that period seemed to get better and better, with "Let It Be" a step backwards, IMO.(the opposite of the career of Elvis Presley, which reached a peak just before he went into the Army) The music he did after 1958 was a shadow of his earlier stuff, IMO.

Why death
Why life
Warm hearts
Cold darts

Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss me love

And I can only show you my hell

Touch, touch, touch, touch me love

Touch, touch, touch, touch me love

Why me
Why you
Broken mirror
White terror
