What % of the seats at Nebraska would you guess are endzone seats? Since they just added onto the NEZ it has to be a huge number.

yea, its gotta be over 50%

That stadium isnt even stadium shaped, its more like a circle instead of a oval.

Here is what it looks like know. Add another deck in the other endzone, and it's % is way up there.

Not Royalfan, but based on the numbers from our athletic department website I estimate there wil be at least 23,000 seats in the North endzone alone with the stadium expansion. From the numbers i've seen the East and West sidelines (The original sections of the stadium) are around 35,000. So I would guess the endzones make up 55%-60% of our attendence.

Orginal capacity along the sidelines was 30K or so. The have been no seating additions on top of that on the sidelines. The stadium will be listed at 83K or so so it's probably around 60%. NU really mismanged the stadium expansions, and biffed an oppurtunity to build a new one in the 70's. They also turned down a proposal to make it more like Husky Stadium at UW is at one point. Any magic in Memorial Stadium is strictly from NU's historical success, and not from Stadium design. The stadium is a architechural monstrosity.

not a great place to watch a game if you are in the end zone.

Which is pretty much everybody who isn't a seat holder from Moses'es time, in a luxury box, very well off, Univeristy Employee or in the band.

But see with that seat next year you will have a perfect view of the North endzone video board :) . My season tickets are about four or five sections left of that picture and 60 some rows down.

He's was in the band. He would have stayed on that side. He wouldn't fit in with the blue hairs.

Um, no offense, royalfan, but Memorial Stadium kinda looks like the design was done with some semi-successful copy-pasting on Paint. ;)

That's being generous. The best part of Memorial Stadium is that it has a different facade on all sides, and has razor wire around the south endzone part(I assume a left over from the Lawrence Phillips days)
