lots of drama...but I must add OU baseball fans have a ways to go to catch OU football and/or even basketball fans...crowd was good but no real rhythm in the crowd...great crowd though and very fun game....

Its all a process man, first we start getting fans at the baseball games, THEN they start learning how to cheer during a baseball game which is completely diff than football or basketball, THEN we develop a good homefield advantage hopefully

That being said...3,500 for an OU baseball game is pretty impressive, We had around 15,000 for the regional I would guess. I would like to see OU get a couple grand at each home game though and not just rivals or regionals

I almost got tossed because I was sitting behind the WSU team and I was yelling at our players. They made me and my group get up and leave. WSU fans are just about like KSU fans.

Ok you are gonna have to elaborate... what type of "yelling" were you doing and how did they make you leave seats you obviously paid for? Were you escorted out of the park? Where did you go if you left your seats? Next time come sit with me in the outfield... heckle traitorous two-timing outfielders (Hurlbutt), chase homerun balls and deal with fewer underpaid bouncers. ;)

There needs to be more, a lot more, support from the community around Norman & Oklahoma for Sooner Baseball. Go out and try to find a Sooner T-Shirt, Cap, Hoodie or anything related to Sooner Baseball. It might be out now, but it hasn't been.
I went to several games, driving 4 hours from our house to Norman, and there was only a handfull of fans at each game. While we were in Norman we tried to get some of the above mentioned stuff, t-shirts ect. Found one store that had baseball stuff available but none on the shelves. It had to be printed while we waited for them to do it.

We watched the game last night on the computer,O-zone, and it was great to see lots of Sooner fans cheering, yelling at the ump and watching the Sooners WIN!

It was a fun game, but I have one beef. I don't mind paying $7 to sit on the berm that used to be free in the outfield, but I do have a problem with them not letting us leave and come back. Bad form Joe C.

Congrats, Sooners. Great 4 game run there. If you can take out Rice in Houston, that would be something. Maybe your team's peaking at the right time. That's what it takes.

Shhhhhhhh...Joe C. is infallable, dude. Obviously, the fault lies with you and your supposed need to leave such a thrilling Sooner event. ;)

Dude, didn't Joe C. know I had a 12-pack and a fantasize bottle of Crown in the truck? I don't mind not carrying it in, but how's a brother to get intoxicated when they won't let you in/out? Football games I can understand - sorta, but this wasn't a security issue. Hell, it was a little orange construction fence.

I just hope they don't get any bright ideas to fence that area off permanently and start charging to sit out there at all the games!
I was forced to hop that fence at least once myself Dean SUCCS

For those of you on the third base dugout, I was in the group that was made to leave because we were yelling. Honestly, the extent of our yelling was "We love you, Gene"..."nice throw, 32"....junk like that. I swear, no profanity. Of course the WSU people were all in a tizzy because they were getting the crap kicked out of them. They went and complained to the portable-radio police and in they swooped. They kicked us to the other dugout. I ended up on the 3rd base berm.

Seriously...they are KSU quality.
