People with kids: What is up with this show? Should I be scared?

People without kids but know what this is: ...Stay away from me.

You're telling me there aren'y any parents on here that know what this is? Terrible.

I do :(

I dunno, it's pretty obnoxious. I'm thinking those two need some lazytime themselves. They need to lazify their act a little.

Fortunately my son isn't all that into it.

Is it that obnoxious all the time? I don't know how kids can take it... There's a mother of four here that swears by it and says that all her kids love it.

My pancreas is crying after watching that video...

It's pretty obnoxious. It's like cartoons for sugar addicts. My son's 2 & 1/2 and he ain't having it but of course that may change.

That show is horrible. the boy has watched it a couple of times. The only thing is i think the bad guy is sort of funny looking.

Sort of funny looking? He looks like mrowls' avatar.

I discourage the watching of that show. Add to that list Barney, Teletubbies, Doodlebops and Big Sister, Little Brother.

I'll add some others when they come to mind.

My son hates that show. It's the only one on the CBS Saturday am lineup that he won't watch.

Its actually got a decent message. Talks about eating better and exercising quite a bit of the time. Its no Jimmy Neutron or Fairly Odd Parets but not as bad as you would think.

It's not the message, it's the messenger.

That's the creepiest show there is.

I tune it to Boomerang Network and Josh watches old school cartoons. ANd Dora. I hate Dora.

Kill the messenger?

That's the best idea at this point.

That's all well and good until he clocks you with a skillet.

I've re-evaluated Lazytown since now my 2-yo LOVES IT

It's not bad, actually. Sometimes it's funny - the bad guy is a well accomplished stand-up comedian in real life. The super-hero guy 'Sporticus' is also the creator of the show, director, etc. And the pink-headed Stephanie... she's just so damn cute :grr:

Now if my son is 6 and still watching Lazytown, we have a problem.

Now if my son is 16 and we're still watching Lazytown together in our underwears, we have a problem.

Word.
