My boss is a huge fan of this guy's music. I had heard for a long time that Weckl is one of the baddest drummers on the planet and we had a chance to see him over the weekend.

Dude is a freak. A stone cold drum-ninja.

I'm about as arhythmic as they come, but even I can tell you there probably isn't a better drummer out there.

i saw him a couple of years ago. he was awesome. i had to go buy one of his cd's. he surrounds himself with other good musicians too, his trumpet player was Jerry Hey. You know, the guy who wrote and recorded almost all of the EW&F, Michael Jackson and Toto IV's horn charts. He won a grammy for the horn lick in Rosana. Weckl is bad too though.
