I had almost the same one and had to return it. But the problem I encountered was likely connected to the time I dropped it.

I liked it a lot, and that is a good price on it.

It's a wide screen. If you watch DVDs they will be bigger than a bigger screen that is normal shaped.

I had the same one nearly, and now have a Toshiba with about the same specs.

The size/weight is good for what I want out of a laptop.

Just get a desktop, with one of the new pen-like backup drives.
Save a ton of money.

It can be hard to use the backup devices on a plane though ;)

it's not bad if you like HP :P

i have a 1.5GHz Centrino with 1 GB of RAM, it's decent for the most part

only thing it couldn't really handle was VMWare

i think that price is pretty good...

So after a few weeks now, I am really happy with this laptop. the screen is actually bigger than I expected because its a widescreen type. If anyone is looking for one, I have zero complaints so far on this one.
