I really didn't know what to expect with Carhartt boots. I like the clothes so I tried them. They're probably the most comfortable work boots I've ever had. My feets are warm and dry. I like it. Atwood's specials.

Really, the only knock I had on them is one of the first lace hooks after the eyelets bent so lacing them up is kind of a pain. I suppose I could bend it back but I'm skeered it might break.

my boss wears carhart boots also. He uses them for all his work clothes though. I bought some dunhams (made by new balance) which are pretty damn comfrotable for steel toe. I wish I had gotten them in wide, but they didn't have them in stock and I didn't have time to wait before I flew out.

Mine aren't steel toe. I have yet to find a steel toe that I can stand. I understand the need but really hate them.

Allen Edmonds only because the American shoe market has abandoned the skinny foot. I wear a 12 1/2 aa. Just you try to find anything in that size.

I therefore am a freak. I am an anathema. When I recently found a Redwing lace-up work book in size A, I rejoiced. Skinny footed people need to unite and untie because shoe width has nothing to do with.... :D

try a wide or extra wide there's more room in the toes and it's less restrictive. That's the area that always bothers me. These are the most comfy steel toes i've worn. I hear sketchers makes some very comfy steel toes also.

try a wide or extra wide there's more room in the toes and it's less restrictive. That's the area that always bothers me. These are the most comfy steel toes i've worn. I hear sketchers makes some very comfy steel toes also.
Sketchers steel toes are comfy. They're just not full ankle that I've found.

M doesn't post anymore, but the funny thing is she now lives in Norman and works for OU. When she got the job, I offered to buy her some OU gear and yard signs. Sadly, she turned me down. Sheesh... you can take the girl out of Stoolwater...

She still has great taste in footwear though, and the best legs of any female who has ever posted here.
