1. Texas
I can't stand Texas, but I believe it is classy to let a NC sit #1 until someone knocks them off (which probably won't take long this season).

2. Ohio State
I loved watching the Notre Dame game. The expression on the ND fan's faces was priceless. Lost most of the heart of that defense though. Wouldn't be a bit surprised to look back on the year and say "they were over-rated".

I know everyone and their dog is picking them but did anyone else happen to notice that they beat only one team with a winning record? Oh yeah … and see the bowl game with Ohio State again if you think they should be higher.

Good top 25. I don't agree with Texas being #1 pre-season, but they are top 5. I don't agree with OU being #3 but they are top 5. But whatever. My only problem is Cal #10. The only reason people are giving them any love is that they have Marshawn Lynch. I still think they lose at least 2 or 3 games. Even in the crappy PAC-10.

Just so you know, UGa finished at #10 last year and had 3 losses. Granted, those are prolly considered quality losses being in the sec, but a 2 loss Cal team with a bowl win could easily finish tenth.

And sadly, I agree with texas being first til someone knocks them off.

I just don't get the Cal love...sooneron, you're right in that a 2-3 loss team could still be top 10 at the end of the season (UGA was SEC champ last year, that helped to get them #10...), but I just don't get it.
