After Adair's on Saturday I went to the Lizard Lounge to go dancing with some fine ladies that I met at Adair's. WOW, the LL is one weird place if you're not drunk or high on cocaine or X. The Girls Gone Wild bus was across the street from the LL. THe skanks were out in force. There were a few weirdos out on the town in Deep Ellum.

I didn't know that place was still open, LL was the spot to be when I was in high school.

That's cause it's a ****hole now. Used to have a ton of good clubs with live music. There are still a few, but the dance club has taken over.

I once met a fine chick on OU/Tex weekend in west end. followed her to the ellum. she bit the crap out of my arm while we were dancing.:eek:

Oh yeah, this dude came up to us and was trying to talk to us. Whatever freak, I have no idea who your band is and I don't care that MTV plays your video at 4am.

I used to love the LL, back in the day (10 years ago). Of course, I was in the mindset of one or all of the above of your qualifications. Crazy place.

Don't know where you've been going, but that isn't true in most places.

I don't get out to those places often, but that is how it is in Vegas, especially after around 11 or 12. I was talking to a bartender (who was basically standing around) who said as much. He said it sucks because you don't get alot of tips dishing out bottled water. Of course, those clubs run until sunrise and alcohol doesn't help much with that.

That is where me and my friends used to go when we would go out in Dallas :O

From what I can remember it was fun....but I am sure it has changed A LOT since then....that was a long long long time ago.

actually, that was pretty funny watching the skanks get on the bus. There were some ugly broads getting on that bus.

but you see, I was at Adair's with some friends watching a band that I am friends with and this group of chicks walk in. They had been at a wedding. I told a buddy, that the one in the white sundress with the red things on it is hawt. Later she comes up and grabs my hand and wants to dance. I ditch my friends and go with her and her friends to the LL. I dent get home until 5:30am.

man, what a combo, adairs to lizard lounge goes together like tuna fish and lamb

last week my friends talked me into going to the Ice Cube concert, we bought our tix and walked over to Adairs to drink first. Kind of a weird night listening to 1100 Springs and Robert Earl Keen and walking across the street to an Ice Cube concert. Adairs is STILL the best bar in Dallas in my opinion. Oh yeah, Ice Cube was awesome also...old school, baby.

Yep, it was awesome...and I'm not a rap fan, although I listened to it when I was younger. It was at the Gypsy Tea Room.

I didn't have my camera. I just remembered what that crazy SOB told me his band was called and looked it up on myspace. The shirt he had on Saturday was much more vulgar.
