:texan:

my favorite part is when the seller (who is wearing gloves to mask his identity)....implores you to not wait another 35 years. :)

Why Ramonce? Doesn't he have a Texas state championship ring or two he could sell first?

Have they already given out the 2006 championship yet? I missed it.

Well of course they have. We just got in ahead of USC as 1st bidder on the 2006 unearned championship claim. Hell yes and why not? It worked for them.

Well, those are reciever gloves in the picture, and they look to be used...
That should narrow down the pool of suspects.

I would be p*ssed if I were part of a program that had players that didn't care about tradition, honor, and integrity. This guy obviously only cares about himself and money. If I were in the position to, I would find out who it is, and permanently plant that ring in that guy's butt. JMO

Well to be fair dude, maybe he needed money for his family or something, maybe he wasn't drafted and needed money more then he did a ring.

I wish they all would sell them, the less evidince left around about their nc, the better i say. :D

Just classic and what I would expect from a bunch of players who are characters as opposed to the Sooner players who HAVE character . . .

it could be the ring of a groundskeeper or a team security guard type. I know that OU gave rings to our groundskeepers and 'Joe's Army'.

That would be one of very few reasons that I would consider okay. But generally UT pays their players enough that they should not have to sell anything back! ha!

so their national championship ring weighed less than the all-important Holiday Bowl ring?

Programs do care about tradition, honor and integrity. Plus making bucketfuls of money off the unpaid athletes. If coaches and athletic directors and universities can make millions of dollars, maybe a player can make a few thousand.

You can bet your sooners got a ring or a watch or something for LOSING the most recent Sugar and Orange bowls. Just part of the deal. More of a reward for making the bowl, and also a loophole the NCAA gives to teams to give the players at least a little something for having a successful season.

At USC, they get gifts for any day that ends in a "y" Why? Because they Care ;)
