A personal apology to you federal income tax payers out there

I have not earned your tax dollars today. It's 2:20-something PM, and since I arrived at work at 0730, I have paid a few bills, made plane and hotel reservations, been to a visitation (i.e. wake) at a church, eaten cold fried chicken and potato salad for lunch, read and responded to several non-work emails, and posted several insignificant -- if not completely regrettable -- posts on the SO. I have not done any "work" except to read a few office emails that did not really pertain to me anyway. I sincerely promise to do better with the rest of day and week.
So, good-bye for now.
