Heh.

Maybe it is undermining Christianity. ;)

I don't know about the rest of you Christians, but I feel undermined.

I'm a huge fan of Audrey Tautou. Looks like Tom Hanks should have teamed up with her years ago. She can certainly open a movie.

same fake outrage that propelled the passion of the christ to high opening.

should I go see this movie (DaVinci, not Passion)? I've heard mixed reviews for this one. My mother in law loved it, but she also loves anything that comes on Sci-Fi, and it's really hard to go by her opinion.

I was talking about Amelie (I think an accent mark goes on one of those vowels, but I don't know how to make it e' or something like that).

It was a good movie if you don't mind reading.

I have no idea what that or the movies I posted are. I just went to IMDB and copied and pasted them. I had no idea who she was before TDC.

Which smear campaign? The ones by the Christians, or the movie reviewers? :)

I think madkatt is talking about the smear campaign aimed at Christians by the DaVinci Code makers/writers. At least that's all I can figure based on his tone.

Rotton Tomatoes is a fundamentalist Christian site? Who knew. :D

I wonder what the outrage would be like if some book or movie questioned Islam or Allah? Perhaps the Dutch can shed some light on this.

Yeah, someone go roll Rushdie off whatever random model he's making out with backstage at a U2 concert and ask him how that fatwa's working out for him. :D

yeah, but that's only since the fatwa got lifted. he had to lay low for a while.

So, if the Christian's had called for a Fatwa, they'd be ok. Damn Muslims have all the fun stuff in their religion, Fatwas, beheadings, Jihads...

I could only afford the "I" volume of the encyclopedia. I'll look up that other stuff when I go to the library next.
