It's been reported on Rival's Aggie Websider that Damion James has signed with the Ags, I dont' have a link, becuase I dont' subscribe to Rivals, but you should hear more about this later on in the day.

Shoulda released them to anywhere 'cept a Big XII school, especially a South school.

Mr. James is a big pile of poultry manure, which should be an advantage at the Aggie Prep School of College Station. No loyalty to his LOI.

well, if he did sign it would have had to be on or before May 16.

funny thing, is about 4-5 days ago i went to texags hoops board and there were exactly zero threads about D. James.

You can do that for transfers, but not LOI releases.

James can't "sign" anything right now. He just has to enroll in whatever school he chooses.

I hope we STOMP aTM next year.

He should get quite the reception when A&M comes to town.

Who is coming back for OU next year and who from Sampson's recruiting class is still coming to OU?

exactly. I'm happy he went to a Big 12 school, so we can play the little punk.

Who is coming back for OU next year and who from Sampson's recruiting class is still coming to OU?

Crocker, whom many think is truly the best player in the class, and Keith Clark, who has much of the same skill set as James.

**** James. And **** the faggies.

I can't wait until they play here in Norman.

Even if he did sign a binding LOI, it doesn't mean much.

I know, but we could have had a 'deal' or something.

You didn't look close enough. It was mixed in one of their many "ode to dead collie #_ " threads.

"If the returning folks for A&M have only our remnants to play, they should sweep us next year," I state sadly.

Aggie will give us all we want but I have no reason to believe that we can't beat them in our house. They are going to be a chore for anyone to beat in College Station.

Spoke too soon, Aggie. He announced for Texas this afternoon.

King Crimson

he'll see the floor a lot faster and get minutes at UT with Aldridge and Tucker gone....than at ATM next year.....for his token year of college before he "declares".

Durant is a player but UT doesn't scare me much next year. we're NIT, .500 in the league type but we can take the Horns in Norman.

Not sure why he didn't go to Texas in the first place. He said he grew up as a lifelong Texas fan so he was glad to make the choice.

I love that the Ags jumped the gun on this one.

That said, the Ags won't suck as basketball as long as Gillespie is there. Just football.

Well, Texas became more attractive to him after we lost our entire frontcourt.

Nah. I'm sure he was a Longhorn fan as a kid, but having a lock on PT was obviously his No. 1 priority. The only difference here is PJ being out of the picture.

That's not possible. According to a thread I read earlier this year the A&M athletic endowment is so large that Bill Gates and Warren Buffet come to College Station to beg for money.;)
