Back from Oregon. If any of you want some dining recommendations I'd be happy to oblige, although I didn't really wander very widely around Eugene. I stayed mostly in the downtown area, around Broadway and Willamette (a bit south and west of Autzen). Pretty town, good eating (there was a tiny, tiny hole-in-the-wall fish and chips place that was better than most places in England), lot of hippies.

No job this time either, but I did manage to make it to the final round. I was one of the last four guys standing at the end of the day, but my face gave out on the alto trombone and one of the other guys won. Oh well. This job was only worth $6,000 and was one-year-only. Next week I go to San Diego to try to win a permanent, $60,000 per year job. :D

I love San Diego. That Zoo is amazing. The Hilton there in Del Mar was so nice too.

I'll say it again. PG is sneaky. Funny, but very sneaky.
And I like her art.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
