Well I can't say I'm too happy about this. For one thing, he's only been here three years. He's making the standard 'family' claim, but I wonder.... I admit though that they displayed way too many photos of him in articles when they obviously should have been putting up more hot photos of our hot gymnasts.

So I guess the search is on now.

Surely Nunno has been at OU longer than three years? I lived in Norman for almost 25 years, and I could swear he was there for at least five or six, maybe longer. Didn't he coach Shannon Miller? That was a while back...

But I'm old and easily confused nowadays. ;o) Correct me if I'm wrong about his time.

Well, he's been head coach for three years. He's actually been with the OU program for six years.

Well, there's more to this story than I bothered to pay attention during the season. Apparently the Women's gymnastics team was under investigation for holding too many practices. OU self imposed some penalties including a pay freeze for Nunno. Hmmmm...

Well atleast he didn't jump ship and go start coaching a Georgia or something.

ESPN article (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=2451386).

Also I seem to very confused by how long he has actually coached. I guess it has been five years as lone head coach and 1 year as co-head coach with Becky Switzer.
