The other night I made a big New York style cheese cake, with a chocolate ganache to go on top. And I am eating a peice right now. And it is great.

Normally, I would drink milk. But when I opened the fridge, I saw the Dr. pepper... and there was a halo of light around it... and I just HAD to grab the DP.

Good answer....if you would have said coke, i would have come at you like a tornado with arms and teeth....
Milk should always be numero uno, but going with the dp option is ok in this instance...
Not a funky flavored DP i hope
the new stuff tastes like robotussin...which is good but not what i want my carbonated beverage to tastelike

Rest assured... it is original DP. I have never even brought myself to try the flavored stuff.

THough in reality, I'm probably way too conservative for you. Though, I've always been far more attracted to more liberal outgoing girls. I need someone to counter-balance me. :D
Plus, I have a feeling the longer you know me the longer I'd have to pay you to stick around, play the drums, and cook for me. ;-)

Hmmm... while truth is, I am a bit more liberal than I was about a year ago when I joined the board, in all honesty, the same conservative outlooks I had back then are still major ones I carry with me today.

Wait a minute... drink milk with cheesecake? That just doesn't make a damn bit of sense. I mean, you're getting milk in solid and liquid forms. It's like drinking milk at breakfast while eating biscuits and gravy. Milk overdose. If anything, have the cheesecake with another glass of whatever wine you were having with dinner.

What I would like to know, if you are willing to share, is the recipe for said yummy cheesecake with ganache icing??? I have always wanted to try and make ganache icing, but truly don't have a clue on how to do it and I'm normally pretty good at baking.
