Everytime a 'cane hits here (slides up the Gulf of California and hits Yuma), it consists of about two puffy clouds and a gnat fart wind. I'll save my buying my extra batteries, water and food until winter.

Seriously, I am praying that the MS Gulf coast is spared for a while. As you know I have ties there.

Hopefully, we don't see anything this year.

Round 7 of slickdawg (the anti-hurricane) vs. scaldeddawg (the hurricane magnet), slickdawg is up 6-1, but that 1 was a doozy.

Tropical waves already lining up across Africa. Dandy.

Doozy. Tuscon sounds good.

8 feet of water and 140 mph wind will do this. Storm surge came in at 11:00 am from stopped clock. You can see the faint water line above it.

Computer models are GROSSLY INNACCURATE more than 3-4 days out.

With that said, NOAA's flagship model, the Global Forecast Suite says
that on June 4, there's something rather interesting in the Gulf of Mexico.

Welcome to life down here, where you actually have to worry about
**** like this.
