So the other night my single mom neighbors came over with some beer and I put some Tecate in the freezer to try and get it cold but ended up the 6 pack my neighbor brought was more than enough for us 3 women.

I left the Tecate in over night. In the morning I put it in the fridge.

Is it going to be any good?

A six pack was enough for the three of you?

That makes me sad in my beer belly.

And it should be fine if the cans weren't punctured.

Tecate Sno-Cones! :D

Next time, fill your sink with a lot of ice, some water and salt. Bottles in said sink will get colder faster than in the freezer, but you also risk the chance of freezing them as well...

Unfortunately, not. It's still going to tast just like Tecate.

Does it change things if it's 6 point?

I guess it might take a little longer to freeze.

All these years and I have never thought to put beer, or other becerages in a sink full of ice water. Thats a great idea! I have a double sink so that will work out fine.

Beer will get cold in <10 minutes in ice water.....not sure what the salt does though, I've never heard that.

From MythBusters

Experiment 1: Ice vs. Ice + water vs. Ice + water + salt vs. fridge vs. freezer
Initial measurements:

Ice
Ice + water: 33 degrees
Ice + water + salt (salt melts ice and lowers the freezing point): 24 degrees

Results (after 5 minutes):

ice: 57 degrees
ice water: 44 degrees
salt water: 35.9 degrees
freezer: 55 degrees
fridge: 60 degrees
Final results:

Ice + water + salt: 5 minutes
Ice + water: 15 minutes
Freezer: 25 minutes
Ice: 30 minutes
Fridge: 40+ minutes

Forget the beer, I want to know what you ladies were talking about. Single mom's are always good for interesting conversation, especially when they have a couple of beers in them. Did you bring out any of the naked pictures of Stanley?

The parties we had in high school we'd just load the bathtub up with ice and throw all the beer in there...Bathtubs hold a lot of beer...

I'm not sure, she was unclear on the amount of lime, also. Sounds like she might be trying to make a poor person's margarita.

Now I know what to do with all of the leftover sidewalk salt from the winter.
