We are out in a really, really remote area of the Tejas panhandle. It's about 30 miles north of Borger and then back east about 15 miles through a never ending windy dirt road. Sometimes however, it's worth being out here just for day break.

The ranch we're on is over 10K acres. Last night when we went into town we saw 2 does, a pheasant, about 20 rabbits, 3 turkeys, a couple of coveys of quail, a bunch of ducks, and 3 pronghorns. I'm glad to report the one I hit is apparently OK. He's a little hobbled and bruised, but alive.
