View Full Version : Infamous or lesser-known siblings

So me and a co-worker were having a discussion today going to lunch about a great whatever happened to subject, Jeremy Giambi (brother of Jason). I said he's probably "rooming with Ozzie Canseco (brother of Jose) right about now."
So that got us to talking about some of the lesser-known siblings of some famous athletes. Here's a few names I brought up:
Mike Maddux - brother of Greg, pitched for about 10 seasons, is now the pitching coach of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ozzie Canseco - brother of Jose, definitely didn't come close to the career Jose had. But hey, at least he probably wasn't on the juice.
Cooper Manning - older brother of Peyton and Eli. The forgotten Manning brother. Played football at Ole Miss but had to give it up because of a career-ending injury.
Dan McGwire - brother of Mark. Played QB at San Diego State but was a bust in the NFL after being drafted by the Seahawks.
My co-worker countered with Dom DiMaggio. Had a productive career with the Red Sox in the '40s but was definitely overshadowed by brother Joe.
Who are some other lesser-known siblings that come to mind? Not just athletes, but entertainers (Frank Stallone anyone?) and others (Roger Clinton anyone?) can also be mentioned.

Would you also say that Tracy Wistrom hasn't had quite the career that big brother Grant has?

I would agree with that on the NFL level. It's hard for me to knock his performance at Nebraska. Tracy came up with a lot of big catches.

That's debatable. There's a whole new generation out there who have never even heard of John Belushi.
And how can you mention Jim Belushi like that? I loved his performance in "The Principal.":D
