I think Okam (whorns) is only a soph. and he seriously considered OU, but was bullied, badgered and threatened by his HS coach to go to tx(not sure about the threatened part).

Other that Posluzny and Okam, I have don't even know who most of the first team D is. Not too many big names there. I have a feeling the end of year all american team D will be much different than this one.

First team O makes sense, although I am surprised Brady Quinn didn't get the nod at QB. Probably a toss-up between him and T Smith.

I'm guessing ND (and/or Charlie Weis) didn't want to do any business with Playboy. Quinn and the Shark would have been sure-fire first-teamers on my All-American team.

I remember when OU recruited Frank Okam. I was disappointed when he chose Texas over OU. I guess there was good reason for that as we could use some depth at defensive tackle.

I played highschool football with Frank Okam and I know he considered going to OU and shoot, Coach Stoops even came out to scout Frank(when I saw Coach Stoops at that one spring practice I pretty much went crazy with excitement seeing him), and I don't think coach gayden badgered or bullied him to go to texas but then again coach gayden was a texas fan so I dunno. All i knoiw was that in the class I had with him I wore an ou sweatshirt or shirt everyday to try and subliminally convince him to go to OU, didnt work though. Though one of the reason I heard that Frank went to texas over OU was because he had problems with Jackie Shipp the DL coach.

I'm more interested in the post season all-america list. The preseason list is based on last year's performances. Good to see AD, but I believe OU has got the talent to add players to this list on both sides of the ball.
