T-H-R-U...It's not that hard. When I was in high school I worked at 2 different fast food places, and at both the manager spelled DRIVE-THRU as DRIVE-THUR. I'm at work today and saw something on one of the Coke machines saying that a machine took someone's money, and in the note it said something about the money going THUR, but not giving her the drink. Is thru really that hard to spell?

When Walmart in Moore added the pharmacy back in the 80's (when I worked there) the workers spelled it P-H-A-M-R-A-C-Y.

We noticed it but didn't tell anyone. They were open for about a week before they changed it.

"dominate": as in "OU will be dominate (dominant) next season....."seems to be gaining popularity around the net.

i was recently grading some student work and found the word "uppitomy"--epitome, i figured it out after a while. but spelling things phonetically (even with spellcheck) is pretty close to illiteracy. happens alot with today's young people.

Through?
I almost put something in there about it actually being spelled "through", but when you see it at fast food places they spell it "drive-thru"...And many people will spell it this way because of either laziness or ignorance...The point is, it is 4 letters, and if you look at it you can clearly see that "THUR" can be the right spelling...I don't know, it just bugs me...

I know a guy that used to constantly throw "ne waz" into his emails. took me forever to figure out that he meant "anyways..." which is STILL terrible grammar.

Fact remains, GHP is so honkified, he thinks "Boyz in da hood" is a disney

Man with tattoo typo to get laser edit
misspelled tattoo

EDISON, New Jersey (CNN) -- A New Jersey dermatology center has agreed to remove for free a misspelled word from a tattoo on the back of a Woodbridge, New Jersey, man who is planning legal action against the artist who put it there.

Joseph Beahm, 21, will have the offending word -- which was supposed to have been "else" but turned out as "elese" -- removed Friday at The Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery of the Skin.

On August 7, Beahm paid $100 for the tattoo, which was done by artist James Kastel at a Boardwalk tattoo parlor called Body Art World. But what was supposed to read, "Why Not, Everyone Else Does," turned out, "Why Not, Everyone Elese Does."

Beahm wanted the tattoo parlor to pay $2,100 for laser surgery to remove the offending word, but Kastel offered only to cover it up. He contends that Beahm was shown a rendering of the tattoo -- including the mistake -- before it was applied.

Beahm still plans to sue the tattoo parlor for $20,000, alleging pain and suffering and breach of contract.

this is sadly ironic for the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

"Moran" is a widely popular last name, along with Ladner, Cuevas and Necaise.

Most of them are just like the guy in this picture.
