Actually, most of the players gundy dropkicked out of the program were going to be ineligible anyway. He got a lot of good pub from the Daily Depression without mentioning that the kids would be gone anyway without his help.

Add that to the fact that he has a kid on his roster that is awaiting a statutory rape case... I mean hell, even Texas cut him after that. Nobody wanted him but Gumby said "Sure, nothing's proven!"
