I put all my music and then some on mine, only filled up 12 gigs. Have over 4K songs.

Haven't put videos on there yet, not priority.

i can't imagine having 60 g. i've got the 20 and it's about 70% full.....and last time i travelled i dumped two DVD's of tunes on it....just for kicks. and i've got 520 hours of tunes on the harddrive. that's 3 weeks of continuous play.

i can't fit all my music on my 20GB one, some of that is because i ripped a lot of them at too high of a bitrate though

it would be cool to be able to store other stuff on there, well and videos

I only have a 30Gig and have downloaded close to 1k songs since midmarch with a few videos of the Office and Southpark. So I've only used about 4 gig of memory so far.

Get an FM transmitter too...... it's great listening on roadtrips....and you don't have to mess with CD's.

I'm guessing they're waiting on flash memory to catch up size-wise and come down in price. They seem to be moving to flash rather than hard drives on their new products. Smaller, no moving parts, etc.

I haven't put all of my CDs on mine yet, but I currently have 6122 songs (346 days continuous play worth), and I'm only up to 23.38 GB. I still have more than half the player available.

I'm still out on the video version. Video would take up too much space, IMO. The iPod will always be a music device for me. Video, photos, etc. only steal space that should be reserved for rock.

If you're getting an FM transmitter, get a DLO TransPod (http://www.dlo.com/Products/TP_Prod.tpl?command=showpage&cart=11477115624352104). I got one at the same time I bought my iPod, and love it.

I've tried a couple of others since out of necessity, and they all have SUCKED compared to the TransPod.

I have a 30 GB video iPod, and I only have 9 gigs filled. About 4 days worth of music. Of course, I don't really listen to a ton of rock/pop type stuff. It's all full of jazz and classical stuff.

Yea, I just want music on mine too. I just wanted to put a couple of videos on there to impress the ladies. Btw, videos are battery hogs too.

It's on my list, but I'm mostly broke.
