Anyone seen this movie twister?

I had no idea the movie existed. did it just like come out? get a nice brunette chick in it from the Lost Boys which i think came out a few years back. anyhow, its pretty entertaining.

Surely you're not talking about Twister with Helen Hunt. How can you be from Oklahoma and not see that movie? And it's a hell of a lot older than 2-3 years old..it came out around '97 or '98 I think.

it came out in '96, filmed in '95.

I remember it was around the same year of the OKC Bombing. That year we had a bunch of tornados. It was crazy because they were filming it the same time Oklahoma was hurting real bad. First it was the bombing, then about 18 people were killed by a series of tornados.

Does anybody remember this?

I lived in Ponca City at the time they were filming this movie. one of my good friends was the caterer to the movie set. I went with him one night when they were filming the movie.

Also, the lady I called my second mom at the time was the cook for the Jamie Gertz family while they stayed in Ponca for the filming. They liked her so much that they offered for her to move to LA with them. She claimed to have lived next door to Magic Johnson and down the street from Arsenio Hall.

My second mom was flattered for the job offer but did not go with them after the filming.

i heard that he is near the top of the list as far as how much his movies make on average. of course being in titanic is what put him up there, but apollo 13, true lies, twister, and tombstone all were huge at the box office. he also was one of the punk kids that arnold kills at the beginning of the first terminator(hes the one with the mohawk)
