It was considered nearly impossible for the two species to mate, since polar bears mate on the ice, while grizzlies mate on land.

Tundra maybe?

Then why are the bears being forced to mate with grizzlies? Grizzlies ain't hawt to a polar bear. Survival of the species.

I don't believe in it, I mean it was 90+ degrees here 2 weeks ago, and now we can barely reach 75...It's gotten colder, not warmer :rolleyes:

I know absolutely nothing about bears, ecosystems, nature, animals of any kind, etc. (you get the idea).

But are there a lot of grizzlies intermingling with polar bears? I thought they were from different regions..
